It was inevitable for a young Alexandrian competitive swimmer and waterpolo player to choose to live and work in the water. An Egyptian American actor, singer and model who came to Dahab for a vacation, 3 years later, Master Scuba Diver Trainer, EFR instructor, swimming coach and free diver.

Roba is the friendly face behind the scenes, keeping everything organized and making sure your diving experience runs smoothly from the moment you arrive. From managing schedules and paperwork to handling last-minute changes and answering all your questions, she’s always ready to help. Warm, organized, and always happy to lend a hand, Roba makes sure you feel welcome at Sly Dive and that your day starts off right.

Ahmed is the one who gets your diving day started! From early-morning pickups and evening drop-offs to transporting divers and equipment to the dive sites, he makes sure everything runs smoothly. Always joking and full of energy, Ahmed will probably have you smiling before you even arrive at the dive center . He’s been part of the Sly Dive family since the very beginning, and his friendly spirit and willingness to help make him a familiar face everyone loves to see.

From Open Water Diver to Divemaster, Bob has grown up at Sly. After joining the team in 2023 as an assistant technician, he worked his way up to becoming a Divemaster. Known for his endless energy, sense of humor, and dedication, Bob brings great vibes to every dive day. Whether he's guiding divers or making the team laugh, he's always ready to help and make every guest's experience unforgettable.

One of the most experienced instructors on our team, Mahmoud is certified across multiple training agencies and has years of experience teaching and guiding divers throughout Dahab. Before diving, he worked as a swimming coach and personal trainer, earning him the nickname "Monquez" (Arabic for lifeguard 🛟). Professional, knowledgeable, and always full of fun, Mahmoud makes every dive a memorable one.

Khawagaa began his diving journey by studying both scuba and freediving at university before moving to Dahab in 2018. After gaining experience as a Divemaster on liveaboards in Marsa Alam, he returned to Dahab and joined the Sly team. Passionate about helping certified divers improve their skills, he loves sharing his favorite dive sites around Dahab—especially the Islands.

With over a decade of experience in the Red Sea, Eissa began his diving career in 2011 and has been an instructor for many years. A PADI and SDI Instructor specializing in Deep and Nitrox diving, he combines extensive experience with a calm, confident approach that makes every dive safe, enjoyable, and memorable.

From guiding people through the history of Egypt in Luxor and Aswan to guiding dives in Dahab — Ali has always had a passion for showing people something new. He traded temples for reefs when he started diving in Dahab, and by 2021 was already working professionally in the industry. Now a PADI MSDT, SDI Elite Instructor, and TDI Intro to Tech Instructor, Ali teaches across multiple agencies (PADI, SDI, TDI). He has been part of the Sly team since 2022 and guiding dives around Dahab is what he enjoys most.

Mohammed is our technician, making sure your gear is ready, comfortable, and safe for every dive. From preparing tanks to helping you clean and reset your equipment, he’s always there to make your diving experience smoother. And if you love football, especially Liverpool, he’s your guy
