Overview
From the moment you arrive in Dahab, you will notice that everyone around you seems to be more interested in diving than anything else. In fact, Dahab is one of the world’s premiere diving destinations with astoundingly beautiful reefs and an amazing array of aquatic life. With more than 1,000 species of fish, over 150 species of coral and the occasional visitors, such as turtles and dolphins, Dahab is a diver’s paradise. Maybe you’ve snorkelled before and wonder whether to try scuba? Excited but unsure about actually being underwater? Discover Scuba Diving will be the perfect introduction for you. This course can be completed in half a day. You will spend the entire time under the direct supervision and care of a qualified instructor. You need to be at least 10 years old and in good health to sign up for the Discover Scuba Diving experience. Your instructor will begin with a briefing to explain the basics of scuba diving and how your equipment works. You will then be taken to a confined, shallow, calm area in the sea, where you will start your introduction to breathing underwater followed by some basic skills. Next, your instructor will guide you (1 on 1) on a shallow open water dive where you can enjoy the marvels of the underwater world.
