Overview
Leave Dahab behind and drive deep into the raw Sinai interior aboard a 4×4 jeep, guided by Bedouin drivers who have navigated these routes their entire lives. The centrepiece is the Coloured Canyon — a narrow sandstone slot canyon whose walls shift through ochre, crimson, purple, and gold depending on the light.
The day also takes in open desert plains, ancient Bedouin settlements, a traditional lunch cooked on open fire, and a final stop for sunset over the Sinai mountains. No experience required, no physical demands beyond comfortable walking. Suitable for families, solo travellers, and groups of up to 8.

Coloured Canyon walk
1.5–2 hours exploring the canyon on foot with your Bedouin guide. The narrow passages, layered rock formations, and filtered light are best in the morning. Some light scrambling involved.

Desert drive to Ain Khudra Oasis
Cross open desert flats and rocky plateaus towards a hidden oasis. Your guide points out geological features, wild plants, and desert wildlife along the way.

Bedouin lunch at the oasis
Sit under palm trees while a traditional meal is prepared on open fire — grilled meats, fresh flatbread, salads, and sweet mint tea. Vegetarian options available on request.
